Large print transcription
If your customer has difficulty reading regular-sized print, then Large Print will help.
RNIB’s specialist staff takes your original customer documents and transforms it into a Large Print document.
Our large print standard is 20 font Arial, but we can produce up to 32 font and on different coloured paper.

Easy read transcription
Easy Read is an accessible format primarily to support people with learning disabilities.
A combination of Easy Words and Pictures provides a powerful way of simplifying information for someone who finds reading and writing difficult or where English is not their first language.
RNIB have expanded the reach of Easy Read to include people with sight loss who also have a learning disability.
Most documents can be turned into Easy Read. Good examples are instruction leaflets, appointment letters, local authority documents, banking letters/statements, programmes, and guides.

Braille transcription
Braille is a system of raised dots for people who are blind or partially sighted. They use their fingers to feel the shape of the dots which tells them what the words are.
RNIB can produce Grade 1 and Grade 2 Unified English Braille. Easy for the customer to read and save, braille documents are double sided, bound and A4 as standard.

Audio transcription
Provide your communications in audio, either in synthetic or real voice, using narrators or text-to-speech.
Quality audio production has been at the heart of the services offered by RNIB since we began recording Audio Books almost 100 years ago. We are able to provide high quality human voiced solutions from our purpose-built studios for any project.
Synthetic audio is our standard automated solution for information that contains personal information such as a bank statement or doctors' letter.
