The Leeds Society for Deaf & Blind People (LSDBP)

The Leeds Society for Deaf and Blind People is a voluntary organisation which exists to meet the needs of sensory-impaired people living within the metropolitan area of Leeds. The Society works with many other national and local organisations, including a long partnership with Leeds City Council Social Services. Its services include:
- braille, large print and audio transcription services
- sign language interpretation services
- sensory awareness training for businesses
- medical guide communicator
- A range of social clubs and other activities.
