A vision for a fairer future: our priorities for the Welsh Government

The 112,000 blind and partially sighted people in Wales face numerous challenges in their daily lives, from inaccessible streets and public transport to a lack of employment opportunities and difficulties accessing healthcare.

Many of these issues are the result of systematic inequalities or the needs of people with sight loss not being properly considered when decisions are made.

With the election of a New First Minister and the formation of a new Cabinet, we’re calling on the Welsh Government to focus on a number of key priorities which will help address these issues, and in doing so create a fairer Wales for people with sight loss.
