Stockton-on-Tees Council Social Services
Provides social care services to blind and partially sighted people in the Stockton on Tees area. Initial contact is through the First Contact Team at Stockton Council, whose Sensory Team then provide support that can include :
- assessment of needs
- equipment to assist daily living
- signposting to local support groups
- registration
- advice and training in independent living skills
- mobility training
