Braille 200 Launch Event at the British Library
On Tuesday, 26 November 2024, the RNIB along with their event partner, The British Library, are hosting an official launch event celebrating 200 years of the power of braille. The event will be taking place from 7.30pm - 9pm.
Braille and Beyond Library Tour
From September 2024, the UK will embark on a journey of celebration and discovery with the launch of the Braille and Beyond Tour across the UK. This year-long initiative invites you to join braille experts and allies in honouring the 200th anniversary of the braille code's invention and exploring its profound impact in the lives of blind and partially sighted people.
