This opportunity is for organisations with an employee volunteering scheme.
Are members of your team comfortable with technology? We'd love for you and your colleagues to get involved in running a monthly tech hub at your office or near where you work, to support people with sight loss to develop the knowledge, skills and confidence to use everyday technology and enjoy the benefits of being online.
We provide support including an initial information session that your staff team can experience together as well as additional learning about assistive and accessible technology so they can confidently run a tech hub together, helping blind and partially sighted people in your local area become independent technology users.
How often will I be needed?
- 2 Hours per Month
Key requirements
- Volunteers in Scotland will need a Criminal Record Check.

- Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, East Midlands, East of England, North East, North West, South East, South West, West Midlands, Yorkshire and the Humber, Greater London
Additional location information

Ideally, you would host a monthly tech hub in a conference room or other space in your office. If this isn't available, we can set up a hub in a local library, community centre or other nearby space. Support is provided by our Technology For Life Team
