An independent charity supporting blind and partially sighted people in a wide area of North Yorkshire. Activities:
- equipment demonstration area
- gym with state of the art treadmill, rowing machine and cycle, dumbbells, and trained instructor
- daily activity groups; regular outings
- newsletter
- computer tuition including keyboard skills, iPad and android tablets, smart phones, Guide, Supernova, Synapptic, NVDA
- assistance with benefit and other forms
- Guide Dogs for the Blind Association drop-in surgeries on the first Wednesday of each month from 10 am to 12.30pm
- free audio book service
- Living with Sight Loss courses
