Wirral Society of the Blind and Partially Sighted (WSBPS)

An independent charity supporting blind and partially sighted people in the Wirral area. Services include:
- fully equipped Resource Centre with low vision and daily living aids available for demonstration and purchase. Open daily 9am to 4pm
- Pottery classes, creative activities and art groups
- braille class on Friday morning between 10am and 12pm
- advocacy worker on site who also provides a benefits form filling service and complaints. Home visits are available on request
- local history group
- afternoon social clubs on Tuesdays and Fridays
- yoga classes on Thursday mornings
- Hospital Information Point at Arrowe Park Hospital Eye Department (Monday and Tuesday 9am to 4pm, Wednesday 9am to 1pm, Thursday and Friday 9am to 4pm)
- computer training offered in partnership with other organisations
- Audio Book library
