Watford Social Centre for the Blind

The Watford Social Centre for the Blind is a local independent and self supporting charity providing an opportunity for members to socialise and enjoy activities. We meet in our own purpose built hall in the centre of Watford, a short and flat walk from many bus stops.

Members can access help and advice about equipment and gadgets for the blind and partially sighted during our weekly meetings whilst also enjoying a range of activities and outings. We offer activities including Keep Fit, Darts, Scrabble, art and crafts as well as enjoying entertainment from the numerous visiting musicians and schools who entertain us. There is also a visiting chiropodist and beauty therapist.

Day trips include boat trips, places of interest, museums and bowling. A week long break to a UK hotel is also organised.
