Visualise Scotland

Visualise is an action group formed by parents, carers and teachers of multi disabled visually impaired children who attended Canaan Campus, the multiply handicapped unit of the Royal Blind School, Edinburgh.

The main aim of the group is to provide suitable day care and residential post-schooling in the community for multi disabled visually impaired (MDVI) adults where they can enjoy continuity of education with stimulation in a caring environment, and where they can develop their considerable learning potential. Thus equipping them with the skills to achieve as much independence as possible.

Services:
- Housing support/care at home, providing 24 hour care
- Support with applying for community care grant
- Outreach Services, adult day care, based at Norton Park in Edinburgh and Newhailes Business Park near Musselburgh
