VIEW

VIEW is a membership group that is open to Qualified Teachers of Visually Impaired (QTVIs) and other professionals with an interest in the field of vision impairment. The mission of VIEW is to support all those who provide education and support to children and young people with vision impairment, including LSAs, mobility and habituation workers, and trainee QTVIs.

VIEW provides members with a range of online resources, including support, advice and networking opportunities.

Representation is made to the Government on issues regarding the education of children with a vision impairment. The association also provides funds for research and acts as a partner for relevant teacher training courses.

VIEW works to safeguard standards of provision, and raise the profile of the field. The VIEW Committee is comprised of professionals with particular expertise within the field of VI and education.
