The Seeing Dogs Alliance

The Seeing Dogs Alliance was launched with the sole aim of providing an alternative source of dogs to guide blind people.

Guide dog owners and their families run the Charity and all seeing dogs and seeing dog puppies are raised and trained whilst living in a home environment. The aim is to provide fully trained dogs and personalized tuition for new owners, in order to build effective partnerships. Training is carried out in the home area with back-up facilities arranged as required.

The Seeing Dogs Alliance strongly believes that the charitable funds should be focused on the provision of seeing dogs, whose upkeep and welfare will thereafter be the responsibility of their new owners.
