Telephones for the Blind (TFTB)
The Fund helps registered-blind and partially-sighted people on a low income who live alone or with a disabled partner and cannot afford a land line or mobile phone to get access to one.
The policy of the TFTB is to make a contribution towards quarterly telephone rental costs and where a new telephone line installation is required, they pay 100% of the cost.
Alternatively they provide a free Mobile Phone [Doro PhoneEasy® 612], with no further costs to the TFTB.
