The Children's Sensory Team is comprised of qualified teachers of children and young people with vision and hearing impairment. The team is involved with children from birth to the time they leave the education system. Work takes the team into homes, nurseries and schools where they offer advice and guidance to ensure a child or young person has the best possible access to learning. This may range from advice on the management of the classroom and curriculum materials to specialist help or equipment.
