Stockport libraries offer specialist equipment and software to cater for a range of needs, including vision and hearing impairment, specific reading difficulties and mobility impairment.
Each library within Stockport can provide fully accessible computers to users who require specialist equipment. The resources provided include:
Magnification and accessibility wizard software features, flexible height workstation with large monitors, a range of different keyboards, including large letter, Supernova specialist magnification and spoken word software (available on request).
They also offer a home library service and every three weeks you will be visited to change your books (large print and talking books).
