St Albans & District Talking Newspaper

St Albans & District Talking Newspaper ('SADTN') serves the communities in and around St Albans and Harpenden. They provide a two-hour-long weekly audio programme of local news, discussions, audiobook reviews, interviews and local information on USB stick and also on their website (sadtn.org.uk) and the app Talking Newspaper. Their service is completely free to listeners. In recent years, they have won the Queen's Award for Voluntary Services, the City & District Mayor's Special Recognition Award and the Lord Lieutenant of Hertfordshire's 'Heroes of Hertfordshire' Award. They celebrate their 50th anniversary in 2024.
