Somerset Sight

Somerset Sight is a local and independent charity, providing a unique mix of compassionate support and practical advice to empower people to live a full and independent life despite sight loss.

Services provided:
- Resource Centre and Mobile Resource Unit
- Aids for Daily Living
- Volunteer Visiting Service
- Social and activity clubs: countywide and including craft, bowls, bowling and dancing
- Activities for working age visually impaired people
- Audio books
- Visual Impairment Awareness training
- Emotional Support
- Hospital information points at local hospitals.
- RNIB Talking Book Service and British Wireless for the Blind Fund

Somerset Sight welcomes new volunteers and has been awarded the Investors in Volunteers standard.
