Signature

Signature is the national examining board for communication skills with deaf people, and offers certification in British Sign Language, Lipspeaking, Communication and Guiding Skills with Deafblind People and Deaf Awareness.

Signature maintains a register of qualified and trainee interpreters and publishes annually a national directory of sign language interpreters, lipspeakers, interpreters for deafblind people and speech to text reporters who are not only of a required standard but are also available to undertake interpreting assignments.
