Sight Support Worthing

SSW provides support, education, resources, and advocacy to people living with low vision and blindness. We have an in-house tech team who can help with selecting the right equipment, setting you up, troubleshooting and getting the most out of your tech. Those local to us in Worthing can join us for activities and events including Showdown sessions, trips out, and regular drop-ins. We offer support with understanding benefits and entitlements and the application process. We can assist with advice and advocacy when communicating with other organisations. Our specialist counselling service is in place for those experiencing changes to their vision that can sometimes feel distressing and overwhelming. We’ll support you on your journey adjusting to sight loss. SSW has a well established transport service provided by our dedicated volunteers who will take eligible clients to appointments or other engagements.
