Scope

Scope provide free, independent and impartial information and support on the issues that matter to disabled people and their families. Scope have a Helpline with advisers that can help you with a wide range of topics including:

• benefits
• finance
• social care
• work
• equipment and assistive technology
• housing and home adaptations

The Helpline is open Monday-Saturday 8am to 8pm and Sunday 10am-6pm including most bank holidays. You can also contact them by Textphone: Use Type Talk by dialling 18011 from a textphone followed by 0808 800 3333.
They also have an online disability forum where disabled people, parents and carers can get disability advice and information, and talk to people with similar experiences. The forum can be found at community.scope.org.uk/
