Safer Places

Safer Places is a scheme running in the Stoke on Trent area in which shops and organisations offer support and assistance to vulnerable people who need help whilst out in the community. Members receive a Keep-safe card which are detailed with the names and contact information of two relatives/friends who can be called to pick the person up if necessary.

All shops and organisations who register for Safer Places receive mandatory training in learning disability/vulnerable adult awareness.

The website gives full details of the shops and organisations taking part.
