Royal Preston Hospital - Ophthalmology (Low Vision Services)

The Ophthalmology Department provides a diagnostic and treatment service for patients with medical eye conditions, including cataracts, glaucoma, squints, eye lid/corneal problems, and eye injuries.

Low Vision Support Service with support from the local Eye Clinic Liaison Officer. Advice and support with social care, emotional support and magnifiers.

Outpatient clinics are held daily.

You can access the ophthalmology service via a referral from your GP.
