RNIB Technology Volunteers

A team of volunteers throughout the UK ready to call or visit you at home when you need a hand with making the most of everyday technology.

They can help with:
- understanding instruction manuals
- getting the most out of your TV, including digital TV
- Installing a DVD player and discovering audio description
- Tuning in your digital radio
- staying connected with family and friends via a landline or mobile phone
- getting to grips with a new computer or laptop including any problems with hardware and software such as Microsoft Office and JAWS
- opening up a world of information through connecting to the internet and social networking
- accessing an audio library at home and demonstrating DAISY Talking Book players
