Okehampton District Community Transport Group

A community led service supported by Devon County Council and West Devon Borough Council, who are committed to providing access to transport for the local community – especially for people who find it physically difficult to use conventional public transport, the elderly and those who are rurally isolated.

Ring & Ride service and provides for more individual one off journeys for the purpose of social visits, hospital visiting, doctors, dentists and chiropody appointments etc. Transport is provided by volunteer drivers using their own vehicles.

The Community car Scheme complements the Ring & Ride service and provides for more individual one off journeys.

The Community bus trips are organised days out by bus.
