North East Visually Impaired Tennis Club

Founded in 2010 by coach Wendy Glasper, the North East Visually Impaired Tennis Club aims to provide and promote opportunities for people who are blind or have severe visual impairments to participate in tennis.

As well as our their own sessions and competitions, NEVITC members are also involved in events across the community. As part of a local Disability Tennis Network they have worked with the Lawn Tennis Association, The Tennis Foundation and the Tony Blair Sports Foundation to help deliver schools tennis programs.
