Kings Mill Hospital Ophthalmology (Low Vision Clinic)

Low Vision Service at King's Mill Hospital and Newark Hospital (Sherwood Forest NHS Trust).

Provide assessments, training and monitoring effective use of low visual aids loaned to both children and adults. They also offer advice on lighting and electronic low visual aids and sign post to local support groups.

They liaise with Ophthalmologist's, Optometrist's, GP's, Social Services, Teachers for the Visually Impaired and Voluntary Organizations to get you the best help available.

Referrals should be made to the Low Vision Clinic (Orthoptic Department) via your GP, Optometrist or Ophthalmologist.
