Infosound

Infosound is a small, independent British registered charity with over thirty years' experience producing free and impartial public service information, in audio, for vision-impaired (blind and partially-sighted) people. These days, Infosound trains and supports others to make information on topics that are relevant to living with sight loss readily accessible to vision-impaired people through the universally-accessible medium of audio. Infosound can provide free training, advice and practical assistance to support any charity, organisation or business in this way. They are also supporting the Partially Sighted Society by producing interview-based audio features for their PSS iTalk information service. More about this free selection of audio features on a wide range of topics to do with living with sight loss can be found at www.partsight.org.uk/pss-italk, by emailing [email protected] or by phoning the Partially Sighted Society on 01302 965195. Infosound also produces an occasional podcast to explain what it’s up to and to share news and information that may be of interest. This may be heard on several platforms under the name of “The Infosound Podcast”.
