IMPACT Foundation
The IMPACT Foundation, a registered charity, works with international partners to prevent and treat needless disability, including sight loss, in some of the poorest parts of Asia and Africa.
Successful projects have included cataract surgery on board the Lifeline Express hospital train in India and the Jibon Tari floating hospital in Bangladesh; vitamin A deficiency treatments; and widespread screening to identify eye conditions in their early stages and provide remedial treatment.
