The Welfare Centre offers:
- Enquiries and advice Monday to Thursday, 9 am to 5 pm
- Mornings: cookery and daily living skills classes
- Afternoons: handicraft and social activities
- Holidays, outings, theatre trips, etc
- Home visiting scheme
- Advice and use of specialist equipment
- Braille, Moon and typing lessons
- Fortnightly talking newspaper.
Visually impaired members run their own social club in the Welfare Centre two nights a week.
