Guys and St Thomas' Hospital

Eye day case unit (EDCU): Is open 8am - 6pm, Monday to Friday and 9am - 1pm on Saturday. On Saturday morning, the unit is opened to care for post-op patients. They care for patients who are coming to have eye surgery under either local or general anaesthetic as a day case. They also treat patients who are admitted as day cases under the care of Medical Eye Unit.

The low vision clinic: The clinic provides a bridge between the hospital, social services and charities that support visually impaired people. They offer sight tests, recommend suitable magnifiers and aids to vision, offer a taster of some of the high tech low vision aids and gadgetry available.
They also run a 'Wednesday Club' with sessions to help visually impaired people emotionally and find ways to enhance their living and working lives.

The hospital also has a children's eye clinic.
