Good Neighbours

Good Neighbours recruit volunteers to help with small jobs around the house or garden. The service helps elderly and socially isolated residents in North Tyneside which can include everything from changing a lightbulb, dog walking and assistance with shopping.

Good Neighbours also run a weekly shopping trip to Asda Benton where people are picked up from home. The volunteers help push trolleys and the group have a coffee in the café before getting a lift home in the mini bus.
