Forth Valley Sensory Centre (FVSC)

Forth Valley Sensory Centre (FVSC) opened in 2006 and supports D/deaf, hard of hearing, blind, partially sighted and deafblind people to live confident, independent lives. The Centre is unique in that our focus is on wellbeing and decreasing social isolation. We do this through groups, classes, outings and meetings which provide fun, education and a great way to make friends.
In addition, the Centre has a number of partners, RNID, RNIB Scotland, Falkirk and Stirling Councils, NHS Forth Valley and Blind Veterans UK who are all on hand to provide additional help, advice or equipment when needed.
Employability and Climate Change projects help sensory people into work or to reduce their energy usage.
A fully accessible Café serves homemade food, a Sensory Room and Sensory Garden are open to the public while the £80,000 Technology Hub helps people make the most of accessible technology.
FVSC is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) Charity Number SC034267.
