Enfield Council Sensory Impairment Team
Provides information and support for blind and partially sighted people in Enfield.
Specialist rehabilitation officers can carry out a full assessment of needs, and provide the following services where necessary:
- Mobility training
- Independent living skills and specialist equipment training
- Equipment loan
- Referrals to other agencies and services
- Advice and information on benefits
- Support and activity groups
- Information on where to go for advice on eye conditions
- Information on registration as Blind or Partially Sighted
- Advice on general community care services.
