East Renfrewshire Council Community Care and Health Partnership

The service aims to provide information, advice and practical support to adults and children who are experiencing significant sight loss and who live in east Renfrewshire. They can give advice on the benefits of registering as blind or partially sighted and issue you with equipment such as talking watches/clocks, symbol canes, liquid level indicators.

They can also arrange travel cards and access to talking books, mobility training to increase how safely you can move about the house or on planned routes giving you more confidence and independence.
