Dorset Hearing and Vision Support Services
Hearing and Vision Support Services provide specialist educational support to children and young people with sensory impairment. The team comprises qualified teachers of visually impaired children, a specialist technician and keyboard tutors. Specialist support staff work with individual children and families in an effort to remove barriers to learning and improve access to local mainstream education for all.
The services are provided under a Joint Agreement across the three local authorities of Dorset, Bournemouth and Poole.
