Bristol City Council, People Directorate - Care and Support for Adults (Adult Community Care)
Bristol Adult Community Care provides a range of services to meet the needs of people with both visual and dual sensory impairments. These include:
- statutory registration of people who are blind or partially sighted
- information and social work assessments
- mobility and orientation training
- funding and administration of Talking Books and radios for the blind
- carers support
- links to WRAMAS (Welfare Rights and Money Advice Services) and counselling services
