Bridgend Council Inclusion Service

Part of the Inclusion Service involved in the identification, assessment and monitoring of the special educational needs of children and young people with a visual impairment, from birth to nineteen.

Supporting schools in managing the process of inclusion via capacity building, providing Inset and specialist support where necessary to enable children and young people with a visual impairment to access the Curriculum and become fully involved in school life.

They also provide parental advice, guidance and support, and through early intervention our team provides continuity of support throughout the educational phases.
