BAME Vision

BAME Vision is here to support people from all ethnically diverse communities, to ensure that they have access to information and resources in a variety of accessible formats.
BAME Vision addresses the inequalities faced by blind and partially sighted people and those at risk of sight loss from BAME communities, by changing attitudes and perceptions around vision impairment. We improve reach and engagement, allowing individuals and families to be in control of their own eye health and sight loss journey. Working together with the eye health and sight loss sectors, our team with lived experience and professional expertise challenges disparities, come up with and influence strategies and break down barriers, so that people from ethnically diverse communities can fully participate in everyday activities, including decision making.

We host webinars, workshops and attend community groups to present in different languages. Resources, blogs, videos and more can be found on our website.
