As well as providing information, advice and support to people aged 50 or over, this branch runs a Visual Impairment Advocacy Service
The Service provides an appointments only weekly outreach session, and home visits for those who are housebound. The service is aimed at individuals who are aged 50 and over who have been diagnosed with some form of visual impairment.
Complex Needs Advice, Advocacy & Support
We provide Information, Advice, Advocacy & Support to older people and their carers in Westminster around a range of complex issues they are facing in their lives. This includes welfare benefits/finances, housing & social care, health care, bereavement, family life and loneliness.
Befriending and telephone befriending
We provide visiting befriending and telephone befriending to combat loneliness and isolation through friendship.
Monthly Visual Impairment Forums provide Advice and information and presentations from organisations that are of interest to members.
