VI Lives – understanding the experiences of people living with vision impairment
We’ve teamed up with two other leading charities to produce a new in-depth report into the experiences of visually impaired people in the UK. The report is called VI Lives and is based on hundreds of conversations with people who live with a vision impairment.
Produced jointly by the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB), Guide Dogs and Thomas Pocklington Trust, the report provides one of the richest and most in-depth pictures yet of the factors that can help, or in some cases hinder, people affected by sight loss to lead independent and fulfilled lives.
The report has been published as a shared resource for all organisations in the sight loss sector and beyond to improve services and support for people with a vision impairment.
You can download the full report as an accessible PDF below.
