RNIB comments on decision to delay mass events

Following announcements that mass fundraising events will be postponed, Head of Public Fundraising at RNIB, Alex McDowell said:

“This is an unprecedented situation, so we understand the action taken by organisers to postpone events across the country. 

“We are incredibly grateful for the hard work and fundraising efforts of all the people taking part in these events for RNIB. They are helping us to achieve our aim of smashing the barriers facing blind and partially sighted people across the UK, and we will continue to keep them updated with the latest news as we receive it.”
