Haggeye, which is run by RNIB Scotland, meets regularly to discuss important issues that are relevant to the group as well as hosting informative workshops. Additionally, as the Chancellor outlined the UK Government’s tax and spending plans for the next year, plans to tighten health-related benefits have caused alarm among blind and partially sighted people.
