How you can get involved
Get involved in the work we do to support blind and partially sighted people.
You could help us campaign for a fairer world for blind and partially sighted people by joining our Campaign Supporters Network; you could join RNIB Connect; or you could volunteer with us.
Would you like to become an RNIB Cymru campaign supporter?
Many of you are already active campaigners in your local area, whether that is challenging local services about their accessibility, writing letters to your local papers or speaking to your local politicians.
RNIB Cymru campaigns to improve services for blind and partially sighted people and to stop people losing their sight in the first place. We work with politicians and policy makers to influence legislation, policy and practice at a local and national level, on a range of issues, from reducing ophthalmology waiting times to having audio announcements on more buses.
If you’d like to get involved with any of the following activities, then we’d love to hear from you:
- Meeting local politicians or service providers
- Taking part in campaigning events in Wales
- Talking to the media
- Helping with surveys
