Helping you maximise your income
Living with sight loss can mean that you have all sorts of extra expenses. Our advisers can help you to claim what benefits and entitlements you might be eligible for.
How we can help
Our Sight Loss Advice service can give advice on all welfare benefits, including Scotland-specific benefits. The service also deals with mandatory reconsiderations and appeals (although they can’t attend hearings in person) and can refer you to RNIB’s volunteer form-filling service and to the Department for Work and Pensions’ own form-filling service.
They can also offer handy tips on how to manage your finances independently when you have sight loss.

Calculate your benefits
The benefits you're entitled to depend on your own personal circumstances. We have an easy-to-use calculator that asks you some questions about your situation and then tells you exactly how much you may be missing out on.
