Employment partnerships team (pre-employment)
The RNIB Employment partnerships team supports people with sight loss who are job ready and actively seeking work. We offer specialist advice and guidance on the journey into work.
This support can also include help with an Access to Work application and advice for employers to manage the Access to Work process.
We can refer you to other RNIB services including confidence building courses, and support with assistive technology, and can signpost you to services in your local area.

If you are seeking to gain employment for the first time, or considering a career change due to a change in your sight, we can provide advice and support.
SkillSET RNIB (2023) is a Northern Ireland based pre-employment initiative which offers opportunities if you are seeking to gain employment for the first time or if you’re unable to continue working in your current job due to sight loss.
