Visibly Better Employer
Visibly Better Employer is an RNIB programme for employers, designed to help them become better and more inclusive for people with sight loss, by committing to our quality standard. When an organisation signs up for the Visibly Better Employer quality standard we help it put into place practices which will enable it to become an inclusive employer for current and future employees with sight loss.
If you're currently looking for a new job, our list of employers who have already achieved the standard is a great place to start.
Get Set Progress internships
RNIB is working with Thomas Pocklington Trust (TPT) to create new opportunities for jobseekers with sight loss to find employment through TPT's internship scheme.
You can find out more about these paid internships, including how to apply and available roles on the Thomas Pocklington Trust website.
Or email Josh Feehan [email protected] for more information.
See Work Differently work placements
RNIB's See Work Differently work placement scheme is an employment initiative for people with sight loss who are not in work. The aim is to help people secure the first rung on their career ladder or return to work following a career break.
These are paid placements for a fixed term of twelve weeks and are generally for fourteen hours per week.
To find out more about opportunities that are currently available go to RNIB careers or contact the RNIB Helpline 0303 123 9999.
