Description
This opportunity is for organisations who can enable their employees to volunteer during their work time.
RNIB is making some changes to increase our impact and make an even bigger difference to the lives of blind and partially sighted people. This involves modernising our HR function to grow in both effectiveness and efficiency.
As we continue to put new ways of working in place, we're seeking some voluntary help for a limited time. We'd welcome hearing from you if you as an individual, or with your HR colleagues, could assist in any of the following areas:
Advising on employment policies and practices.
Recruitment, retention and reward.
Working with data and HR systems.
Establishing a shared services function.
Equity, diversity and inclusion.
A CIPD level 5 qualification would be desirable. Your contributions could be framed as a project or focused activity for a limited time. We'd also consider a secondment should that be something your organisation could offer. We can support you to volunteer from home, your workplace, or from one of our offices in London, Peterborough, Cardiff, or Belfast.
Please get in touch if you would like to know more about the context, goals and objectives for our HR function. If you feel you could offer some help just get in touch and we look forward to speaking with you about your interest, experience, skills and availability. Once again, we're warm to the idea of both individuals and a group of colleagues collaborating to help us.
You can get in touch via our Corporate Volunteering contact form, or by emailing [email protected] with just a little information about you / your team, and we'll take it from there. Thank you.
