Description

Are you an RNIB volunteer who would like to help shape our volunteer communications? Why not join our Volunteering Communications Advisory Panel? You could make a real impact in helping us shape the way we communicate with our volunteers. We would love your input - whether you receive the volunteer news in email, braille, audio or large print.


The Panel is a group of four to six volunteers who advise and collaborate with the Volunteering team on communicating with RNIB volunteers. The Panel plans content predominantly for the monthly Volunteer News and is consulted on other communication projects within the Volunteering team. As a member, you'll give your ideas and share feedback on a regular basis. Your contribution will ensure that the Volunteer News can be as relevant and engaging as possible to RNIB volunteers around the organisation.


You will be:
• Attending bi-monthly online meetings at a mutually agreed time to develop content ideas for the main volunteering communications channels.
• Sharing your experience as an RNIB volunteer to improve volunteering communications.
• Providing feedback and sharing ideas for content for the main volunteering communications channels.
• Contributing to projects related to communications and engagement with volunteers.

Additional location information

  • The Volunteering Communications Advisory Panel meet for one hour every two months on Microsoft Teams at a mutually agreed time.
