RNIB is helping to deliver the magic of Christmas by making sure all children with a vision impairment can receive a very special festive letter.

Our team of jolly elves work closely with Santa to help him send letters in accessible reading formats – like braille, audio and large print – bringing the joy of Christmas to those who may otherwise miss out.

If you know a child who would like to receive an accessible letter, then please get in touch by completing the form linked below. To make sure your child receives their letter from Santa before Christmas please send your requests by Sunday, 1 December 2024. We won’t be able to fulfil any requests after this date unfortunately.

Please remember, this service is for blind and partially sighted children only.

£8 a month could help someone overcome challenges associated with their sight loss through attending a Focus on Health and Wellbeing course.

Your £15 a month allows us to provide in depth, life-changing advice to someone recently diagnosed with a sight condition enabling them to remain in their current job.

£20 a month could help someone live more confidently and independently by identifying ways to adapt their home, in a Focus on Confident Living course.

Donate in memory of someone

£10 could help someone join a Focus on Confident Living Outdoors course to hear about the services, equipment and aids that may be helpful for getting out and about independently.

£30 will run a Talk and Support session, where a group of 6 people with sight loss can share their experiences and enjoy the company of others.

£50 would pay for someone to receive emotional and practical support about their diagnosed condition and the impact on their day to day life from an ECLO (Eye Clinic Liaison Officer) at an incredibly fraught and emotional time.
