Visual awareness session aimed at all health and social care professionals, looking to have an increased understanding of sight loss.
Course summary
It will cover the common eyes conditions, the impact of sight loss can have, and simple strategies to help ensure best practice within a health and social care setting. This session will also touch on the topics of sight loss and learning disabilities, sight loss and dementia and inclusive environments. For sessions specific to these topics, please look at the other sessions available.

- Simple support tips to help ensure best practice including communication and accessible information tips and advice on how to create a more inclusive environment.
